What do you guys think the chances are of Cam Newton coming to a Ball State game over the next four years? Five of his guys from one of his teams are playing here now. That means there's a small chance right? LOL

There is group of about 5 pictures circulating twitter showing our 5 guys with BSU hats on hanging out with Cam newton. It means nothing too us but to a 17-18 year old kid it could be the just enough to swing them towards us.

Does anyone think that Newton is coming to Muncie on a bye week in the middle of an NFL season? I doubt it. Bring those recruits to a game with filled with enthusiastic fans and win the game, that would help recruiting. This is not to say Newton attending a game would hurt our chances. Everyone is welcome at Ball State.

He is not coming to BSU but having his picture out in the Georgia area only helps

I agree and I probably read too much into 606's post. I came off as a wise ass and that is not the way I intended. Let me apologize to 606. We, very simply, just need more people to attend the games in person and with these mid week games at the end of the season I guess I am sensitive. The week night contests do nothing for our attendance figures. I attended virtually every game in Michigan and Muncie I could when I lived in Detroit. I wish someone could come up with some better ideas to boost attendance. We have to win on a regular basis and ''they'' will come. Winning solves a lot a problems.

Winning obviously helps, but the question is how much without those other ideas that nobody can find. It is a big problem. No solution to the night game problem, that will only work if it is a big game, or maybe an early season nice weather tailgating possibility. Just can't get families and many other working people who are traveling an hour or more to come to a mid week night game.

Night games are hard with a family and I live 5 minutes away. They are almost impossible for a family to attend when they do not live in Muncie. I would think the students would love tailgating and heading to a game but the november games and weather destroy that.

The General and the entire student body are subsidizing your ridiculously low season ticket price! smh with disappointment......😏

The General?
Spend a nickel on FB?
I don't get that part.
Besides once you buy season tickets, using them is optional...You have paid. You count.
