Softball team is still playing pretty well. Getting a lot of good experience to gear up for conference play

23-10 after sweeping Akron this weekend.
Is this our next team that's going to win a bunch of games, prompt media articles encouraging people to get out and watch them, and collect all sorts of MAC West Co-this or that of the week honors, only to lose in the MAC tourney and we all wonder how/why it happened?

Probably.
Only an overwhelming team actually is a better than 50-50 chance in tourneys. Double elimination format helps a little there.
And in some sports a team can be very good one day, very vulnerable the next. Baseball softball notably can have high variation in pitching game to game.
And BSU after all is cursed...

It's funny how often we're on the wrong side of 50%.
I cut softball a little slack because they've actually won the MAC tourney a couple times in recent memory.
