Really wanted to know something going into notre dame. Feel like we may still not know anything leaving notre dame.

Who was closest to the pin on final score?
I’m not sure I was but for a B.B. guy I had to be close!
40-10

Just finishing up the replay not going to spend alot of time on this one or try and find things to nit pick
Bottom line we finally beat the snot out of a team we were supposed too.. I think they correct words to use are we should be cautiously optimistic
Like I said earlier W kentucky is the most MAC like school we will see in the non con.
Riley looked as he has all camp and that has been pretty good. He was always been accurate with the short to medium routes he continued that tonight.. He did make a couple nice deep throws. I remember one to Miller I think where he really dropped it in there. If he continues that we are better.. No big mistakes thats also a plus
Rb's as expected were really good. I think Dunner needs 5 more touches a game
O line played well enough but lets wait and see on them
Wr's Hall cost himself a TD and a hundred game with a couple drops. He will be fine
Miller consistent but may be a ceremonial starter cause Yo Heinz is flat out beast
Yo Heinz two catches two TD's.. The first one was all him Riley threw it where only Yo Heinz had a chance and he went up and got it
Littles not much action
Overall really good showing by WR's
The D
Overall much faster across the board and almost pitched a shut out
D line was pretty good, Lbs were fast. White had a really good game, Thomas was in on every play
One thing that stood out to me was Wilborns play. I do not remember his named being called at all. Hopefully it was just an off game
DB's Well they did not get burnt but there were a couple plays where the were still way out of position. For this game they were better though. Bryce Cosby DNP so Larsen saw his first real game time in a couple years and played pretty well.
D did not really blitz as much as they said they were going too.. Might not have needed to against this team
Special teams did not implode so thats a plus
Coaching
No head scratchers
PLay calling was ok, Still not what I would call an open playbook but the tempo was good. The flea flicker was nice
Great game and a good way to start the season. Nothing to get overly excited about though

I know that we can’t draw too many conclusions from this game, but I will say that I am very pleased with the results. Offense and defense both were very sharp. I can’t wait for week 2!

All I know is I am glad I don't have to make that pub my local.
You wait 30 minutes at a time in line for 2 beers, it wears you out...you do meet some people and work up a thirst.
But, seriously, this beer thing doesn't work. Have to really work to time your beer run. Too much thinking required.
And this was a small crowd.

Can we be at least a little bit excited about setting a school record ford yards in a game? That’s pretty cool.

Coming into the game I didn't think our defense could stop a middle school team.
Coming out of the game I think CCSU must be worse than a middle school team.
The team may be much improved, but it's like Whitford's racking up wins against the 350th worst schedule. There's very little information to glean from it.

We have played inept teams in the past and kept the games interesting. We did what we were supposed to do last night, which is something to be pleased about if not excited. Let’s hope we stay healthy leaving South Bend. Who knows, maybe we can keep it interesting for a while. Has anybody found out the last time we shut a team out in a half? Have we ever had a shutout in a game?

They were weak and we should have beat them by a large margin, we did. Everyone knows that in a game that easy Neu did not show much. We didn't need to. The march through OOC schedule continues. GO CARDS GO
