I think he’d do well there.

Wallace is a headache for them. They are looking for a stop gap to get them through next year. Riley Neal fits the bill. Will see how he adjusts to SEC speed.

I hope he does well. After getting beat up here for four years he deserves better.

So big time programs are after a kid who we couldn’t seem to get much done with. I hope Riley becomes the qb we only saw glimpses of at a place with better coaching and better talent around him.

If those big time programs are successful with Riley, maybe we should go after a coach with QB coaching experience next time?
Oh, wait........never mind.

I doubt he is any different than he was here. But having better pieces around him could only help

If he winds up at a P5 school and rips out a 4,000 yard, 30 TD season, it'll be verrrrrrrry telling...
For the record, I predict he winds up at a P5 school and spends the season holding a clipboard.

If your right Farva he will have made a big mistake by transferring. I think he will go to the P5 program that is the most desperate & will play enough to show if he is a P5 level player.

Lets not forget though that his job was in Jeopardy here. Not saying he would not have been the starter but for once there was really going to be an open competition.. The Staff are really high on both Plitt and Paddock.

Riley is making the right decision to move on. It wasn’t working well enough, he was injured every year, and might have lost the starting spot anyway. Plus, he probably needed a to get away From his hometown given the stuff going on with his dad. The key will be him picking the right situation to go into. I don’t think a pocket passing system suits him best. He’s at his best where his legs are a part of the offense (not the running for his life part). But he’s gotta learn to not take hits.

I sincerely HOPE, as a Ball State fan and someone who's really pleased by how Riley Neal has represented Ball State throughout the years, that he goes somewhere and just plays lights out and make everyone look stupid, then gets a shot at the pros. But, what I hope and what I believe are just two different things.
