With the emergence of now FOUR new "professional" football leagues (XFL, AAF, FFL, and I believe a fourth one I can't remember), how many Ball State alums do we think will be playing in these leagues over the next couple of years. Before all of these leagues fold after a year or two due to lack of funding and interest.

Too bad for these leagues that they can't tap directly into students' and taxpayers' pockets to subsidize a product nobody is interested in.

I'm willing to bet all four of these leagues manage attendance at least average to Ball State's which means upwards of THOUSANDS of people are interested across the country. THOUSANDS I say!

Nate Davis will have a place to play as long as he can throw the ball.

Kitt O'Brien is the starting left guard for the AAF's Birmingham Iron.
The AAF will lose money selling AAF gear. All teams are centrally owned. They hired a single marketing/PR firm to brand each team. All of the logos look oddly similar, and have no real character. It doesn't help that the official apparel company is Starter. I thought Starter went bankrupt 20 years ago.
I can't find any current $$ amounts, but in 2010, when the NFL switched from Reebok to Nike, the NFL had revenues of $8 billion. Reebok paid $250 million (3.1% of revenue) for apparel rights. In 2017, the NFL made about $14 billion, and Nike supposedly paid double what Reebok had paid.

I hope one of the leagues calls its championship game the "Superb Bowl."

It sounds like Pinter was impressive at the combine. He had the 2nd best 40 time among OL and was good in other areas. I would think he is a lock to be drafted.

He looked really impressive and one of the analysts called him a sleeper. I can definitely see him getting drafted and moved in at guard or center as he also was doing snaps during drills

Pinter was the talk of the Combine that day. Him and the Akers kid (RB) from FSU.
Pinter moved really well, had good footwork, but needs to put on a few pounds. G or C would be his best spot.

I think his combine definitely took him from a UDFA to a day 3 pick. Which would be nice to finally have a guy drafted after like 6 years.
