Yes, yes you did, except he actually didn't say "up to" - just flat out said 6 weeks. Ugh. That’s not good. At all. At halftime of the Buffalo-Eastern Michigan game while discussing the Ball State-Toledo game one of the Analysts made the statement to Ish's Dad that Ish was going to be out the rest of the season. Ish's Dad didn't contradict that statement. Maybe he didn't hear the statement correctly, but if he did than he believes his son is done for the rest of this season.

He somehow finished the game he got hurt in. He must have done some serious ligament damage or something.

Best Whit coached game yet. Liked how we attacked early and didn't let up until maybe the last two minutes. Liked the substitution pattern and Person's demeanor. The only negative was our bench scoring. Very impressive win!

Always love reading other team's fans thoughts on our team and contrast it to what's said on this board. Compare and contrast the UT board's thoughts on Moses:
"Please tell me why Ball State can recruit a post player like Trey Moses, but we can’t." "why do most MAC teams seem to be able to recruit a true low post player, while we haven’t had a 4-year player like that since Boothe?"

Since they have never had a true low post player and don't know what one looks like.

Couple things.. What happened with Knapke what ever it was it took place on the other end and they never showed a replay?
Another observation late in the game when When Toledo started the full court press there was a made basket. Moses was set and ready to get the ball into Tayler before Toledo could get the press set up. Gunn slaps the ball away and it rolls around allowing Toledo to get the press set up. Tayler loses his mind and screams at Gunn. Gunn then does something again on the next inbounds play and Tayler calls a timeout. He screams at Whit "get his ass out of here" Whit listens and Gunn is on the bench. A Toledo fan looks at me and goes Who is the coach Persons or the guy on the bench.. I laughed and said we were not sure most of the time.

I thought it was a hard foul, maybe flagrant 1. I didn’t think it was all that vicious.

Knapke was recruited by the Cards, still would like to have seen us get him, but we played him tonight. Mosses had a great game, really schooled UT around the basket. Good to see.

That was more what I had heard, but it is still likely he misses a lot of games. That will mean too many minutes on Persons and KJ, and Josh has to continue to hit outside.
With Hazen out an indefinite period we'll have to play short handed for half the conference season or more. But,there is some hope we are at full strength for the MAC tourney. Would be a switch to see us get better in the last 6 games and be our best then!
Have got to have Gunn get his head screwed on, Josh continue to play above his level and figure out how to get something more out of Nehls. Likely we will see Huggins a little more than we want. All that adds up to losing a couple of games when we can't get enough out of the bench when starters falter.
First 5 are playing awfully well now, though. That can work in regular season. Mallers doesn't have the stat line, can improve, but some of that is he is working on D and trying to get the ball to others including a new player we have named Teague who hits 3's and plays hard, and with Toledo game we're seeing reason to get it to Moses.

I actually thought he said out for the season. Guess I'm the one who didn't hear the question correctly.

What coach lets a player yell at him like Whitford does Persons? And most importantly, who the hell is gonna coach the team next year when Tayler is gone?
