Toledo announced attendance was 5,023. Interesting on Toledo Blog fans say they are no better than last yr the record looks good because they don't play anybody. Our opponents are doing well today with Alabama beating UK. ISU & Loyola leading too.

I get the sense it’s a Very long term issue. You don’t mess with a back. I’ll frankly be surprised if they clear him this season, if ever. Is it an injury or a defect? That's disturbing. He was suppose to provide heavy minutes at one of the 3, 4, or even 5 positions for the next 3 years. Whitford will need to get probably 2 front court players in the 2020 class and we know how successful Whitford has been in recruiting those. Anything past getting 1 that can actually play from the get-go is slim. How does that work on the scholarship if Hazen can't risk playing again? Do you get it back (no pun intended)?

He gets a medical if he cant play.. Team gets the scholarship back.. I was talking to my wife who was in the medical field. If the rumors about the back are true there is really nothing it could be soft tissue related. If true its more likely a vertebrate that has over time has pushed its way forward and is now in danger of hitting something thus potentially causing paralysis. No amount of time will ever heal something like that it would have to be surgery.
Like Jim said though this is all rumor based and we do not know if its even true.
After halftime of the last game I was told by an older couple who had just came from the hospitality room that Ish was out because of a minor knee injury. The reality of it is the injury appears to be a more significant wrist injury. So we just do not know at this point all we can do is hope its nothing major

I got the impression from somewhere that he could play with this injury but he would be risking permanent paralysis if he did. By the way they announced the attendance at Toledo as something like 4200. You were there right? Did it seem like that many to you. It was hard for me to judge because the place is small not like worthern at all. While I am mentioning that we really need to do something like they have done with the remodel. Worthern feels cold and cavernous very uninviting. It was a good crowd. It felt bigger than it would have in Worthen. Worthen will always feel cavernous because of the high ceiling. I'm sure many things would be different about it if it were built today.

Who would of guessed after the Toledo game that BSU would fall this hard? I think most of us would expect to have some letdowns but not a complete freefall after the peak of this season.
