Decent road win, both starting seniors who have struggled in conference had nice turnaround games. Moses was great on the boards and efficient. Granted the horrible performance so far at home really makes it hard to climb back to an acceptable seed.

It's always good to hit that many more FTs than the opponent attempts...

I just got done watching the replay due to busy evening.. Trey and Tayler both had great games. We needed a win a got one on the road. I am just going to sit back and enjoy this one. Saturday we have western and if there is one coach I really Hate its Hawkins. I mean I hate that guy and can not wait to heckle him him till he explodes. I keep my season tickets where they are for this game.. Beat Western

How about Trey hitting 8-11 free throws! What is the report on Zach Gunn?

Can not believe Gunn is in a boot.... I saw the injury happen on Saturday and I would have sworn the kid broke his leg. It was Joe Theismann ugly.

Man I saw Neihls, Thompson, and Huggins on the floor at the same time and Whit had lost his mind playing all three at the same time.

If that is in fact what it is, I think 4-6 weeks is more like it. The one time I did that, it was well over a month before I could do anything that was demanding on the ankle.

I don't really have any feelings about Fester one way or another. But I always respected him as a decent coach. Certainly I would trade our results, over his 16 years, for his results. You could also say that the destruction of our program was a major benefit to him.
I've been wondering what's going on with WMU this year. Has Fester hit the wall? Sometimes you'll see coaches who have consistently had decent success suddenly drop off the table. I think in most cases it's that they just reached burnout on recruiting. Which is understandable. It's time-consuming and has to be potentially extremely aggravating - with your livelihood depending on the decisions of teenage boys.
