I really don't agree that Whit couldn't decide who the starters were this season....seemed pretty clear that it was Moses, Teague, Mallers, KJ, and Persons.
Anyone disagree with this?

I disagree with Mills exaggeration. Every team not coached by a HOF coach has bad games. And most players have bad games.
Depth helps reduce the odds.

We get blinded by all those strong finishes and tourney wins Whitford’s teams have had.

Even if this team comes together & wins 20 games but no tourney win lets come up with some money & get a new coach.

Or Toledo this year. Or the others...

You are correct. I should have said our "best starting lineup." Injuries have made it appear that he decided on that, but we'll never know if Hazen might have replaced Mallers, Teague or Moses at some point. I'm pretty sure he would have waffled on KJ and Ish. Hell, he started Nehls in front of KJ a few games. Had we been healthier I feel confident we would have seen several more starting lineup combinations as Whit searched for an answer.

Lost to Bradley last night. Probably have to win their conference tourney to go back to ncaa tourney.

So I’ve forgotten the argument here. Is it that we would should could have been better if only? Or is it we were the second best team in the MAC until fate crapped on us again? Or none of this is anyone’s fault that it’s just lack of money or commitment? Or Whit deserves another free pass for this season if we don’t advance past the quarters or even the first round?

The General keeps calling for Whit to recruit a big man and all along we were thinking he meant tall.....
This could generate a lot of mid-week FS1 interest in MAC basketball if our members would just field teams made up of red shirt offensive linemen. Would save money on basketball schollys as well.
Save money, national interest.......play for a conference BELT in Cleveland......I taste a chicken dinner!!!
