Whitford having a feud with someone reminds me of when Lembo roasted PJ Fleck after the first year then got his teeth kicked in from there on out.
Good times...

Some feud until last yr we had lost 15 straight to Akron & Dambrot.
I think Miami tonight is looking forward to playing their former Ast & I am sure Ringo is looking forward to playing against Persons & Walton.

Feels like a slight tossup but I'd have to lean Miami given they're at home. I hope I'm wrong but I predict bsu loses 74-71. Must win for any chance of staying above .500, and a slim chance at that.

I stand by my words. The MAC is a terrible basketball conference. I remember in the 90s when Dick Vitale called the MAC the most underrated in the country for basketball. Now it is one of the bottom feeders among the conferences that qualify to place a team in the NCAA tournament. In short the MAC sucks and so does BSU . As you should. The MAC is brutally bad. Most of the games are unwatchable.

Toledo is not nearly as good as that RPI rating. We will not get to a better level with this coach. I agree with sweep we are still a one bid league & Buffalo even winning out will not get more than a 7 seed. The only recent surprise I read on other schools blogs is that Akron wants to beat Whit & Persons more than anyone else in the MAC. Why Whit? Persons I can understand. My understanding is Whitford and Dambrot had some sort of feud going on when Dambrot bolted. Akron players were probably pissed Whitford wasn't a more viable candidate for the Duquesne job. As a result the Dukes eventually came after their coach. Damn that inadequate Whitford. BTW, Dambrot is working at a snail's pace at Duquense. First year they're at .500. Second year they're 17-9 overall, 8-5 in the A10. It's just embarrassing how long it takes even a good coach to turn around a perennial doormat. But I hear he's getting his kids to buy in to the process and they're playing the right way. Of course, any success he might have has to be dampened by the fact that the A10 is such a crappy conference, not even in the top 10 like the good ol' MAC. And the Dukes, despite their record, are still ranked significantly below Whitford's Cardinal juggernaut.

This ^ should not be lost here, yet the apologists will ignore it as if you never made the post.

Down 41-35 at the half. If I were an opposing coach I would leave Teague open every time he is beyond the three point line and look at him chuck threes all game.

If we could hit something we might get close. Teague really loves to shoot 3s I just wish he would hit them or not shoot.

Cards down 6 at the half. The red and white have been down most of the half. Question here. The red and white have not shot the ball well in Worthen this season. I've noticed on some of the Sports Link videos they are practicing in the new Shondell practice facility. Are they not practicing at all in Worthen?
Go Cards!

2017-2018 Teague is back! Bricking all kinds of 3’s! Need to get him to the basket more. He needs to shot fake every time he catches a pass and drive to the rim.

I’m just catching up and....oh.....before I forget, MAC is a horrible basketball conference.
Algorithms must put a heavy weight to conference having a top 25 team.
