We quit rebounding several games ago. Maybe they quit caring too.

We quit rebounding several games ago. Maybe they quit caring too. It's amusing Whitford talked about how he wanted a team that could run and score in transition, apparently he forgot rebounding is a big part of that.

You mean you can’t run if you don’t have the ball?

You mean you can’t run if you don’t have the ball? Kinda hard to score in transition when you rank #320 in offensive rebounds given up per game.

There were some interviews last night after the game. A couple players and Whit talked about having fun again and loosening up. PLaying like they were at the rec center where its fun. Thats cool but we may have abandoned the offense we were trying to run

While I agree with the consensus that a coaching change is warranted, I also have a hunch that a complete roster overhaul (even with a similar talent level) could produce as much change as switching coaches would. I sense there are lots of personnel issues - certain cancers on the team, players who haven't worked much on their own to get better over their careers, poor team chemistry, uncompetitive attitudes, selfishness, uninspiring peer influences, etc etc. As someone else mentioned earlier I just have a feeling there's a lot more going on with these guys affecting performances than what is out in the public info. Now of course it's the coach that assembled this roster, but some of those characteristics are hard to discern during the more talent-evaluation recruiting process. But the elite coaches don't miss on identifying many of these intangibles too often, and get rid of the bad apples when they do initially mis-read a recruit.

From what I've observed and heard from reliable sources, this team has good chemistry and the players get along. Probably less so now with the results being what they are but the players themselves are not the problem, IMO.

I'd take Taylor in a heartbeat. This says a lot about the state of basketball at BSU. If I'm picking from our wealth of past mediocre coaches, I'd definitely lean to taking back Buck... Such is the life of a BSU fan. Always longing for that prior mediocrity because it is better than the current mediocrity...

Im not in the locker room nor am I around anyone associated with the team very often but I have spoke to enough people to know that his has not been a problem. This recent really bad turn could have changed some things.

Last year we had a guy get kicked off the team for unconfirmed pot smoking, a guy get "indefinitely suspended" for domestic battery allegations, a senior who totally disappeared and didn't seem to care at all about it. I doubt whatever issues we have now are worse than last year's.

This is absolutely true. Last year was a train wreck in a lot of ways. Things aren’t close to that level this year. This team had no reason not to be better than it has been.

How is it possible for Trey to play 26 minutes and only shoot 3 times. Moses, in the past, has been a shot blocker; this year not so much. I wonder how much his legs hurt. Also Teague with 8 shots and three of those were threes. Do any of the websites show points in the paint? I'd love to see what last night's was.
