Could it be? Cards are 1.5 point dogs to the mighty Eagles of the great Huron Range.

To me as badly out rebounded as we were by WMU I think EMU could be worse. Can we win! Only if we shoot over 50% & 40% on 3s plus have half as many turnovers as EMU. I think this game will probably show what we are likely to do in the tournament.I see this team losing 2 of the their remaining 3 games & possibly all 3.

The Good is we have everyone healthy and have all of our depth back. Third game with everyone back should equate to better chemistry, continuity and play.
The Bad is we seem to struggle against EMU’s zone and they play it non stop. Their length and athleticism also give us fits.
The Ugly. Boy, where to start. Turnovers in droves, too few assists, horrific three point percentage and a trove of offensive boards for the opposing team lately have been our calling cards. I’ll also throw in lack of adjustments or emotion from our HC.
Quite simply, we have to shoot well above our recent average AND flip one of the other bad stats to win this game. We either limit turnovers or win the glass. If either of those happens Cards pull it out. If not, we travel next week.

I'll say Eastern by 4. Why? Our offensive rebounding has been horrendous lately, our three point shooting, our general offensive woes. I see James Thompson having a big night oth offensively and defensively and our bigs in foul trouble. Hope I'm wrong.

Thompson needs 18 rebs to become all time EMU leader. I think he gets it against us tonight in final home game. Best way to avoid it is if refs call fouls tight & he spends lots of game on bench.

Madness here we come.

Sweep...did you ever take any action on Thompson starting next year or are you all talk and no action?

The “at EMU” bothers me. They have won 3 of last 4 and 5 of last 7. Not good for a team that has LOST 3 of last 4.
Rationally, it appears that Eastern squeaks by us by 4.
If we win this one, Senior Night will be a big game for us.

I predict between their zone, rebounding, and length they run us off the court.
