Cannot win if we continue to miss free throws. Interesting fact, Person's has not been to the free throw in the last two games.

seniors played extremely poorly offensively, Moses did some nice things defensively, very uninspiring game to go out on.

Pathetic effort! Can we fire this guy now? Al Brown, James Whitford and Mr. Thompson now top my list as the worst coaches in my time of watching Ball State Basketball and Brown went to a NCAA tournament. We have no energy, no discipline and make the same fu**ing mistakes game after game. That usually spells doom for a coaching staff but we are stuck with this guy for 2 more years. Talk about doom and gloom!

Very tough to see both Moses and Persons lose on senior day. Moses played fairly well defensively and rebounded well. Persons has not been the player he was a year ago. Maybe it was the weight loss that changed his shot, who knows. The red and white had been playing well until the second week of January. Moving the ball well, sharing the ball, and shooting the ball well. What happened to that Cardinal team? Inquiring minds want to know.
Go Cards!

I was at BSU when Al Brown took as to NCAA. He is a better coach than the one we have now for sure.

What makes it worse is every bit of this game could be predicted because we do what we do.
How in the hell did we go from destroying Toledo to 11th?
Either we don’t have the players we thought we did or Whitford flat cannot coach. Or both?

Reevo you never saw Bud Getchell he was worse than Brown. Thompson & Whit I will agree with. Billy Taylor looks better but I hated the pace he played at.

"Either we don’t have the players we thought we did or Whitford flat cannot coach. Or both?"
It's more the players. The Cards hit those three point shots back in December and even in the early games in January. These past few games the Cards have been pressed to score even 60 points. The coach will accept the responsibility because his job is dependent on the wins and losses, but the Cards simply missed shots when wide open. Both Mallers and Persons shooting percentages on the threes were down from last season. Only Ish had improved and he missed a bunch of games.
It will be over Monday night. That's a good thing.
Go Cards!
