Well he looked great in every controlled scrimmage here as well. Good for him though I hope it really works out for hin

He’s always looked the part. Just couldn’t always play the part in games vs good defenses. But being surrounded by better talent and coaches now could do wonders for him.

I watched the Vandy scrimmage. He looked OK. Hit one receiver in the back (someone missed a play). His competition is Deuce Wallace. Deuce missed most of last year with a suspension (breaking team rules), and missed Saturday with an injury.
I see the real competition coming from a true freshamn Jamil Muhammed. The kid looked great in his series of plays. I see Neal as the opener and will maintain the starting position until the wheels come off of the bus, or Muhammed is ready.
Neal is a stop-gap. Wallace is a hot mess.
