Nice article. I’d like to think we’d sooner or later strike gold with a football or basketball phenom recruit that was overlooked by everyone else.

Plitt is serviceable but he is not a long term answer. If Paddock can be as good as everyone has says he is we might have something.

If Plitt is our starting QB I don't think we have a shot at .500. Our only chance is if Paddock is the real deal. Plitt is a solid backup, but he makes too many mistakes to start on a winning team. I guess Plitt could improve on the interceptions, but he has a long way to go.

If I had to bet and I have no inside knowledge on this but I would say Plitt gets the nod until the MAC season starts. Lets face it we do not have much of a shot against IU or NC State.. Fau maybe a hope but still not likely

If the defense doesn’t make some level of improvement we can’t even imagine it won’t matter who our qb is. But if Paddock will ultimately be the guy then just get him out there. Size is definitely a concern. They say 5’11 buy I’m not sure I even buy that. In pics with teammates he looks really small. If he’s got special talent then it’s ok (drew Brees, Russell Wilson, kyler Murray.). But there’s a reason he’s a bsu. I just hope he’s everything we’ve heard.

I kinda feel like Neal was the safe decision in years past. Local boy. Looked the part. yada. yada. yada.
Now I feel like Plitt is the safe decision. Returning from some decent showings last year. Has some of that experience.
But I feel like the staff maybe needs to take a chance, roll the dice a little.
Maybe that's Paddock. Maybe by next fall it's Schott.
I guess all I really know is that so far their evaluation process hasn't turned out so great, and they likely won't get another year to keep doing things the same way.

You’ll have to give the details, but I imagine playing against our defense makes him look better.

Thats true all qbs looked good and did what they wanted. Plitt looked great with the ones but Paddock made highlite throws all over the field. Its hard to explain "it but it looked and felt different comung from paddock
