I believe Willie is still with the Ravens. Signed a 2-year deal last year. Of course, the Ravens have also used 2 of their first 3 draft picks this year on WRs. WR isn't their problem - QB is - tells you a lot about their front office I'd sure agree with the front office statement. If you're going to run the ball, then you don't need to be drafting the WR's and if you do take WR's you should be changing QB's. We all knew it would kill Willie's stats when they began playing the running QB.

Not a close football follower, but didn’t the Saints use Willie sparingly in his last season there because they had too many good receivers? Seemed like Willie was forced to seek a new home and now I hear the experts talking about how depleted the Saint’s receiving Corp is 🤔

I believe he was used sparingly due to his off field issue. Might also have come back and had some early injury issues. Saints, I believe offered, but not near the amount that the Ravens did.

Yea it was the dui then injuries by the time that was all worked out he had pretty much lost his spot. He was used mainly on third down

No matter what situation Willie finds himself, without the drunk driving he still would be with the Saints and would be a starting receiver. I am hoping he can hang on with the Ravens or be traded to a team that will use him to the best of his ability of which he has a boatload of.

If they wanted to keep him they would have paid him, it is that simple. They would have found a way . Teams do it every day. It is plain that they essentially let him go.
