Here's The Orlando Sentinel Bottom 25: Rank | School | Conference | 106 | Western Kentucky | C-USA | 107 | UL Monroe | Sun Belt | 108 | Ball State | MAC | 109 | Old Dominion | C-USA | 110 | Rutgers | Big10 | 111 | East Carolina | AAC | 112 | Kansas | Big12 | 113 | New Mexico | MWC | 114 | Navy | AAC | 115 | Texas State | Sun Belt | 116 | Kent State | MAC | 117 | Bowling Green | MAC | 118 | Charlotte | C-USA | 119 | Coastal Carolina | Sun Belt | 120 | San Jose St. | MWC | 121 | Georgia State | Sun Belt | 122 | UT San Antonio | C-USA | 123 | Central Michigan | MAC | 124 | UMass | IND | 125 | Rice | C-USA | 126 | New Mexico St. | IND | 127 | Akron | MAC | 128 | UConn | AAC | 129 | South Alabama | Sun Belt | 130 | UTEP | C-USA |
- Six C-USA schools
- Five MAC schools
- Five Sun Belt schools
- Three AAC schools (so much for being a Power conference when 25% of your schools are cellar dwellers)
- Two Independent schools
- Two MWC schools
- One from the Big 10 & Big 12

No no, MAC football is a player on the National scene! Right?
(Not even a player on the regional scene, and in our case, not even on the local scene).

Would we really beat ODU, Rutgers, ECU, Kansas, New Mexico, Navy, San Jose State, GA State, Rice, NM State, UConn, South Alabama (I saw them on TV last year, and their speed would destroy us) or UTEP? I hardly think any of those games would be a shoe-in. And we know CMU, Kent, Akron, and BG wouldn't be easy.

We’d be hard pressed to beat a lot of teams.

No I could make several different schedules out of the teams below us where if we were lucky we might get 2 wins

The Tuesday night games are vital for BSU to stay visible to a key demographic: southern, 35-70, lower middle class, obese, alcoholic males. True, nobody from this demographic ever donated a dime to BSU or ever hired a BSU grad, but they will occasionally make a comment to a BSU alum wearing a BSU shirt while vacationing on the Gulf Coast.....and that's critical to the health of the university and worth every penny of the $10 million yearly loss.

Do I detect a bit of sarcasm? I'm getting pretty good at this.

"southerners who relocated to the ECI (aka the 765), 35-70, lower middle class, obese, alcoholic males. " Sounds pretty much like the BSU Basketball demographic... demanding walking tacos and $1 weinies to offset that PBR and Fireball hangover.
