Michael Flowers WMU probable big scorer next season suffered a torn meniscus & he will have surgery. Return date currently unknown. It should just add to problems in what I see as Hawkins last go around in the MAC. He will now be dependent on two players returning from surgery as their go to guys in Flowers & Brandon Johnson.

Was it partial tear or completely torn? That could be the difference between 6 weeks and 6 months.

The only mention from the report on the WMU blog on his surgery states that they will remove torn particles on his meniscus.

WMU blog has video showing Johnson is in good shape & as I said before he & Flowers will be their offense. Surprise to me is Hawkins did not bring in anybody 6'8" or bigger with 240 pounds of weight to push people around. I will say that Hawkins only keeps his job if they win half their games this yr.
