I noticed that Dunner is listed as WR. Interesting move. I figure Huntley is the starting RB, but do we have depth at RB? Anybody have inside scoop on why Dunner moved from RB to WR? Curious if it was loaded at RB or more likely lack of playmakers at WR?

In the Spring Neu said they want to take advantage of Dunners speed and athleticism by getting him out in space. Plus I’m sure they realized the RB by committee was a big fail and ate hitching their wagon to Huntley as feature back. Hurt will be the change of pace back. Tye Evans will get some play too.

I guess if we have an injury or two at RB, we could always move Dunner back. Maybe this move will help Dunner get on the field more - I thought he showed some promise last year.

Huntley will be the workhorse. They have good depth with Hurt, Evans, and Fletcher. Will Jones even looked pretty good in limited action last year.

I hope Huntley stays healthy and we can see what he can do with a full season as the primary guy. The magazines seem to think Fletcher is the first back up. Sounds like he was an important pickup for this roster. It will be interesting to see how the skill positions shake out.

Fletcher was a tremendous back at Erie. What we’ll have to see is of his talent will translate at our level.

Fletcher was a monster but he is stepping up alot. If he can do it he really gives us a nice number 2. I talked to some folks today who really feel like fletcher will excell and will give us at least maybe more than what Dunner would. Dunner was/is not great at getting through initial contact. However when he did he was a threat to take all the way everytime. So dunner slides out where we can use and get the ball to him in a variety of ways in space. This now makes Halls life easier and the D cant focus on him. Opposing safeties now have to stay home thus leaving our outside guys with more one on one coverage. Still looking for an outside receiver to really step up and be a consistent vertical threat. Miller will continue to be the reliable sure handed receiver but is not looked at as a consistent vertical threat

I was thinking that we already had a good slot guy in Hall, but I guess 2 is better than 1.

Dunner makes sense in the slot for quick hitters over the middle, as long as the other receivers sell the play and draw defenders away.
It'll be interesting to see what Huntley can do as the feature back. Not a lot of speed, but he's a freight train. His blocking could use some work.

Huntley could be a beast in the Mac but that all hinges on how the line plays.. He is 1000+ yard back if he is used in a primary role. He is one of those guys who gets better with more carries
