BSU rallies for 68-65 win....................Not Good.............But I suppose we will hear how it's only the second game and we had mixed lineups ...........Blah..Blah..Blah....
Anyone want to do a pool on number of turnovers.

It's one thing for fans on a forum to dismiss excessive turnovers by talking about limited practices, young players, etc. ...
or to explain away Teague's lack of dominance by talking about limited minutes and that fact that this is little more than a scrimmage.
The problem is that it's been clear during Whitford's tenure that this is the way the coaching staff is approaching this also.
And all that's gotten us is a team that lacks fundamentals and a player with tons of potential and little to show for it.
Until the staff starts to demand more consistently and right from the start on both fronts, that's just not going to change. You play like you practice, and those aren't things that will just magically transform when games are suddenly important.

"top the first CIS basketball rankings of the 2014-15 season." Your poll is several years old. This is their schedule from last season : teams.geegees.ca/sports/mbkb/2018-19/schedule-allNot overly impressive is it, but hey they did beat Algoma and Lakehead. They just couldn't match-up with Ryerson.

The team from Ottawa was pretty good regardless of the poll, and Sweep I don’t think you would ever give the staff or team credit for anything. Period.

They are a team in a mediocre Canadian Collegian conference that won a single game in their conference tourney last season. Give it a rest.......... We should be smoking teams like this.

Ottawa was the No. 9 team last year. They have 42,000+ students. True, we should have beaten that by far more points. It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow and who starts for the Cards.

Ottawa was the No. 9 team last year. #9 in what poll, they were the sixth seed in their conference tournament. They don't even provide athletic scholarships, you guys are delusional. oua.ca/sports/mbkb/2018-19/standings

Here is what’s interesting. I see the team play and they would definitely compete in the top half of the MAC based on tonight’s performance and Sweep not seeing them play from his couch knows better? Who is truly crazy??? Now, I know for a fact that Ottawa went largely with their top 5 and we played 3 Freshmen the majority of the game but of course that means nothing!! Tomorrow’s game will be challenging again. Ottawa has a history of beating several D 1 teams here in prior years. By the way, I find that Ottawa was 15-8 and 3rd last year in their conference and according to most people I’ve talked to they have been a top program for years in Canada. Look at their record the last 5 years!!
