Basically just throwing screen passes. Tough to start against UGA.

Vandy D not helping. UGA 3 possessions, 3 TDs.

Also, not seeing the opposition that Riley is but Gilbert has 89 yds and 1 TD at halftime. K-State up 28-0 on Nicholls. 210 rushing yards so far for KSU.

We’re probably going to say we whiffed on both of these guys by the time this season is over.
Coaching Up might not be a strong selling point to talented potential recruits in the future.

These SEC Network announcers are very anti-Neal. Spending the first half wondering why Duece Wallace isn’t in the game, why Neal is running, why not change QB’s, etc. tough to listen to honestly. UGA has a great defense; these guys need a new talking point.

Yeah, they are tough to listen to. Neal has basically looked how he did with Ball State. Very safe passes without taking deep shots. UGA defense is good though.

They also mentioned Riley not pushing the ball downfield. Sound familiar?
Don’t get too sensitive about SEC commentators being hard on Neal. He’s in the big boy league now and needs to play like it.

Not sensitive, but annoyed. I do agree it was a bit soon to start talking about yanking Neal. It was the first half of the first game vs a playoff team. That back up, Deuce, hasn’t been trustworthy, especially off the field.

There are going to be a lot of bad nights for SEC East QB’s going up against UGA. Let’s see what Neal can do next week, assuming he isn’t pulled from starting QB.

Yeah, Vandy has Purdue and NIU in next 3 weeks. Hopefully, Riley gets to play through those before any drastic changes are made, but I get the feeling he'll have to produce against Purdue or there might be a change.
Of course, Wallace doesn't seem to be any great upgrade so who knows.
