I don't see the FAU game even being close. They will be far superior in the trenches and from a speed standpoint. You don’t think it will even be close? I think we win the game, but at worst it will be close. FAU is not better than IU. You might be underestimating FAU. Their qb was a 4 star recruit at Oklahoma before transferring to FAU and they’ve got BCS transfers at other spots. Once they settled down vs osu they went toe to toe with them. They are very quick, athletic, and aggressive. We don’t handle that well.

I know that they have some talented players; I never disputed that, and they may be faster than us at some positions, but you can’t convince me that they are way bigger and better in the trenches. We have a solid, experienced offensive line. We will score on that defense. If we get blown out in that game, Neu can start looking for his next job.

I don't think playing in Scheumann Stadium will phase them a bit.

Edited to correct effing spellcheck That’s what I’m saying. And they have the advantage of coaching in addition to the athletes.

This is a MUST win if they are aiming at five or six victories. If they actually lost this one, even three victories could be tough. I highly doubt theyll lose, Fordham is on level of central Conn. St. If they lost this, I dunno how anyone could possibly back Neu ever again.

Response to Calhoun's comments on Florida Atl.The key for Florida Atlantic's coach is getting his team up for playing us. I think after they play Central Florida this week & having played Ohio State they are not going to come in ready to play another game in the midwest.I consider it like us playing WKU after ND & IU last season. (though we were home)

Hopefully we don’t look past Fordham. Well doing that would just be a disaster.. I dont ever really do this but Fordham should offer little to no resistance. They are just not a very good football team. Most if not all the MAC should destroy and be playing back ups in the 2nd half

Hi, Fordham Fan here. Our players look forward to their 1 annual FBS game. Get to test themselves playing up a level and in a nicer stadium/venue than usual. Maybe a hundred or so Fordham fans will attend game. If so, majority would be alumni that live within reasonable distance of BSU rather making the trip from NYC.
We may be a bit bigger and stronger in trenches than you may anticipate for an FCS squad but we wont be able to match your team speed or athletes. No one (our fan base) is expecting to beat you as we are a young team only 8 seniors (3 are on 2 deep). Our QB has talent but is only a true soph. Our 2 inside LB's are terrific, both are FCS All American caliber. In our loss last week, CCSU QB was fast elusive and imo the difference. I'd imagine you'll have similar type athletes and more of them... so no easy sledding for us. We hope to hang around keep it within 10-14 points. Which may be a longshot.
If you ever visit NYC/Bronx Fordham's Rose Hill campus is beautiful inside the gates. Landscaping is picturesque with old stone buildings etc. The Bronx Zoo and Little Italy are next door.
2 random comments your TE Nolan Givan committed to Fordham but never enrolled. Looks to be a nice player for you. former HC Pete Lembo was my HS teammate. Not sure if he gets a thumbs up, down or indifferent out that way.
If I had to make a prediction 38-20 BSU. Good Luck!

Hi thanks for stopping by and Welcome. We have not been a powerhouse or even good for a while now so your prediction could be close. We of course are hoping for a much more lopsided game. We will be ready to jump in a river if its thats close. Pete was loved at first around here and then near the end opinions changed. That probably happens with any coach though. Givans would have been a monster for you guys but has just been an average TE for us. That might be different if we actually used the tight end. Lets hope for a good injury free game. If you or anyone else has any questions please ask

I meant that to say in the unlikely event that BSU were to lose it would be a huge embarrassment and ceiling on the season wouldnt be too much beyond 3-9 in said scenario.
