I can’t believe how many deep balls we give up. Over and over. Elson doesn’t seem to know how to adjust this plan of attack against us. He needs to go ASAP. We get gouged on large chunk pass plays way too much since he’s been here.

Hall started the second half so I assume he had a moment during the week He did that last year too. Yep he has moments and then has to be reigned back in.. His moments so far have been short lived and have not resulted in grudges

We only have conference play to look forward to. If Neu splits even in the MAC he might save his job but my feeling now is that disipline has not been a priority in his plan and it could be his downfall. I think we have good kids but I am having a hellava time tryin' to figure if it is ability, lack of disipline, or schemes. Maybe in the end it is a combo of them all. I like Mike Neu , I thought he had a great chance to be a success but his chances do not look after today's performance.

If this had been the third game of Neu's tenure, instead of the third game of his fourth season, I might be encouraged that things could get fixed. But four years of this stuff ...
I heard a pregame interview with Elson talking about how the Fordham tape didn't look as bad as they thought it would after they broke it down, that the problems were things they could fix.
Apparently, that didn't include WRs running free through the secondary.
Really a disappointing result. If just one of the three - offense, defense, special teams - plays well throughout the game we might have won. Just one of the three.
I know this sounds strange, but I still like Mike. I'd just make him fire all his coordinators. And since we know he won't do that, he's probably coaching his last season.

With each passing week we're hopefully closer to eradicating the entire turd of a coaching staff.

It’s really time to clean house. I think Mike has gotten Ya some better talent but the assistants are a joke. We lost at home to FAU. That’s embarrassing. We either need to drop to FCS or really consider a coaching change for 2020.. and by that I mean a successful staff from the lower levels. I was really optimistic about this one, but to get 41 dropped on you at home (and could have been more) says enough.

It was only for two years, but that's about the last place I'd ever turn to in search of football coaching talent.

“It’s really time to clean house. I think Mike has gotten Ya some better talent but the assistants are a joke.” 🛎🛎🛎 Chicken Dinner !!! Much better athletes than we had prior to his arrival. We just aren’t able to use them. Neu came in late and had to scramble for a staff in his first year but 1) either lacks the ability to see their deficiencies, 2) lacks the managerial savvy to make changes or 3) is stuck with what he has because that’s all you get for our payola structure.

We are looking at 1-5 coming into homecoming and that equals a poor crowd. And we aren’t going to beat UT so we’ll be 1-6 and that’s unacceptable. We might have better talent but we aren’t disciplined and we continue to be unable to stop any good passing attack. And most MAC schools have QBs who will torch us. The offense is pretty good, especially if they can eliminate the mistakes. But we’d have to win 45-42 every week and that’s not gonna happen.
