The potentially is there to be successful in MAC play. Again, potential. I like Plitt, he did miss a few open players for big plays, possibly TD’s. But I like my chances with him behind center. The “D” played good enough to win. The punt return for a TD hurt. The failure to get TD’s and settling for field goals hurt, the interception was a killer. However, we were in the game at a sold out Power Five stadium. A win was not out of the question.

Rimmler did his job & I am happy to see the defense hold them under 40. What do we look like in two weeks against NIU? Shows how low our expectations have become. When I first read this comment, I was like "Yeah, defense must have played decently." But then I realized that keeping an opponent from putting up 40 shouldn't be something that is celebrated ... even mildly; it should be expected. Ah well, this is where BSU football resides. To be fair special teams was basically responsible for 14.

Lots of talented kids on roster. Really like this team. I can name over 10 names, something I couldn’t have done since the 2012 team.

I was honestly surprised. Team looked much better than NCState throughout second half.
NCState fans were not a happy bunch.
Play calling was pretty good.

Frustrating game I thought we could keep it respectable because NC state is just not very good but again we did just enough things wrong to keep it out of reach. We have better talent than we have had in a while. Now the problem is getting out of our own way

We cause them to have their first turnover at home, three in fact. We outplayed them in the second half. We did miss our chance to win however. They spend four to five times the amount on their program and had almost sixty thousand fans in the seats. MAC teams should get blown off the field, we didn’t, in fact we competed to the end!!! Great fight Cards! If not for the errors, we win this won, but...

Got our tickets from an NCState faculty season ticket holder and was amongst long term Woofpack fans ......many folks were extremely critical of Doeren throughout the game.
Oh, Calhoun....our ticky came with a sweet parking pass. Sorry you couldn’t make it. Perfect weather for a night football game and those folks are professional tailgaters.

Admittedly I have not read all the posts from the game, but we would be remiss if we didn’t give some credit to Ryan Rimmler for his 3 FG’s on Saturday. Two from 43 yards out. They were all “no-doubters” from my vantage point.

State fan here. For anyone who travelled to the game I’d be interested in your experience...how you were treated, restaurants, in-game experience, etc.

Folks were respectful, easy to get in and out of parking. Police got the lots evacuated quickly. Fans inside were friendly and the stadium is set up well for seats, concessions and rest rooms. No restaurant experience. I’m all about the brisket sandwiches at exit 319 on I-40!!

I am ready for N.I.U. I like this team, they hit hard, good talent. Yes we had a couple special teams things that were big, but they made some incredible catches on very good coverage. Like this team, would be awesome to go and go on to win a bowl. You start the season with all the big goals. Gotta beat IU. Need non con games to get bowl. Gotta win Power 5 to raise level of program. All important. But then you realize you could have won all those games but if you fall when conference starts, does it matter? This is a weird team. Weird teams win when all else is equal. Very weird team. And they win
