Did we just turn into a running team today? I hope we did because I’ve felt we’ve underutilized our backs. And we can control a game better.

Based on Calhoun’s reporting on our “national passing accolades”, maybe we have the dreaded two-prong attack?
They just don’t both work in the same game

I’m not sure how u win a road game with 34 yards passing and none in second half. Timely hits by the D did it. Weather may have actually helped in that regard.

Maybe just maybe the NIU game proved to the team and the staff that we a TEAM with two dimensions. If you are a DC on the side how do you prepare for the Cardinals... Tough assignment...Much harder now than two weeks ago...Keep it goin guys. Eastern will be tougher than in years past but so will we! I think Eastern comes into this game a little down on themselves for losing to Central. Score early and take control of the game and kick 'em when they are down. We CAN be good but we must not make foolish penalties and turnovers. Let's continue to surprise the MAC.

I was at that game. We had a 300 yard rusher and a 200 rusher in that game. The weather was terrible, cold, raining and windy, we fell behind but came back to win if I remember correctly. I remember Parrish climbing into the stands and I think he gave a game ball to his wife. Poor Justice was just in over his head playing QB. It wasn't his fault as Davis had left early. He hardly even qualified as a back up in the MAC.

Wasn't that the game when Lewis had 300+ and Banks hand 200+?
