Toledo looked like the class of the MAC before last Saturday. Now, we are only a 1.5 point dog with a real chance to win this game. The question is Toledo who we thought they were or is there real trouble in Toledo? Great teams don’t lose to Bowling Green. I’m leaning Toledo in this one, but I am much more hopeful today than I was last week. I dont know good and even great teams sometimes just lay an egg. It does not make them bad or not great sometimes you just dont show up or cant get it going for whatever reason. One of two things will happen they will either come out focused and prove they are the class of the MAC or if they struggle again then they are not whay many tabbed them as before last week.. Saturday will tell us more

Sounds like Toledo is very weak at the QB position. I wonder if game films are starting to catch up with them? I have still not found an update in the severity of the Injury to their QB. The "backup" has played in several games this year though so even if it is the backup he has some expierience

Great teams can have a bad game, but Bowling Green is so terrible - a class of awful by themselves, that I can say with confidence Toledo is not a great team. They may still be the best team in the MAC. Are they better than us? Probably, but we’ll find out on Saturday.

I hope your right I do not know what I might do if we were 3-0 with wins over NIU and Toledo.. I might get arrested for streaking or something

Bg played really hard vs ND and was really spirited, despite the score. Neu said they played that same way vs ut and Toledo made some uncharacteristic errors. You know, kinda like when we were undefeated until we played UB in the MACC.
The UT back up threw for over 300 against last year. (But 4 picks). Not sure yet which we we’ll face.

Until I see consistent winning from this program, I will be a doubter. Prove me wrong, Cards-please prove me wrong.

The "backup" has played in several games this year though so even if it is the backup he has some expierience From today's Toledo Blade: "QUARTERBACKS: Starting quarterback Mitch Guadagni and backup quarterback Carter Bradley were injured in the second half of the Bowling Green game. Candle did not comment on the nature of their injuries, and said their status will be updated later in the week. He did say he believes that the Rockets will have at least one of them available on Saturday at Ball State."

Fixed it for ya. is it bad that I have been thinking of reasons to try and persuade my son to miss the playoffs on Saturday so I can go to homecoming. We have two other coaches that can handle it. Im just kidding(kind of) they are only young once.

Well it looks like Toledo has a stable of quarterbacks... Gaudagni is the starter and redfreshman Bradley was the back up
Eli peters is third string he is the qb who started against us last year and lit us up. He lost the job to the above two mentioned this year
4th string is interesting as its a guy named cross Wilkinson.. Why does this matter you ask? Well it does because he was almost a Cardinal. He chose Toledo over BSU a couple years ago. Cardfan and I were heartbroken over this one at the time. He looked like a really good prospect at the time
I do not think this QB Injury is going to effect them much
