Both teams should be motivated. But I really don't want to see anything but a good game from us...

Yes but Christmas tournaments are frequently werid. (Teams decide to sleep during games or seem to dream of St. Nick)I just want to see a win with no injuries.

Portland is 8-6 against a 346 schedule.
If we are even with them at 3:30 tomorrow....it won’t be a mele kalikimaka

The line is 8.5. If I were a gambler I'd bet the house on us. Portland is terrible. This game should not be within 20-25 points.

I wish we’d attack the rim rather than just stand out there and jack 3’s. Nobody seems to want to drive the ball. (Well, Walton does but it tends to be an adventure). Would really like to see Bumbalough have some success going to the basket vs just shoot 23 footers. He hasn’t been very aggressive.

“jacking threes” is a tradition for Indiana schools. It’s our duty, as an invited guest to the Aloha State, to uphold our honor.

We are extremely easy to defend, and it will show come MAC play when coaches know us better and mostly play man to man. Bumbalough is small, slow, and not athletic enough to be a factor without an old school Bobby Knight screen and motion offense. The other problem is that he is not a consistent enough shooter. The kid has a lot of heart, but doesn't have the ability to drive the lane at this level. Coleman seems to be our best penetration threat now, but he prefers to jack up threes most of the time.

First time got the basket plus one, second time he got two free throws. Ish went to the basket successfully several times as well, as did Coleman. They need to do this more and open up the outside shots more.

Luke isn’t as quick and athletic as I expected him to be, especially in light of football offering him a schollie as a WR. He’s tough, and a gamer though.

Another team pounding it inside to a C BSU can't stop. Starting to see a trend here.
