Because it's January 27th and there is fuck all else to talk about? WOW! Didn’t expect this reaction. However there is a lot to talk about. Returning players, recruits and how they may play in moving forward, shifting of coaching staff, effectiveness of the current head coach and staff, improving attendance, marketing, impact of indoor training facility, and more. Not anything to talk about what the f... are talking about! And there are plenty of threads devoted to the myriad topics you just listed. This particular thread though, which has a grand total of 14 (now 15) posts, is about former Cardinal Hazleton. If this had become the new Bane thread I'd get your consternation, but as is it's just silly.

Hazelton wanted to get closer to home & now goes to Mo. Has anyone mentioned to him it's further away than Muncie? I would have thought going to Maryland would make more sense. I think he will wish he was back at Tech next fall.

Sigh. Another good player we couldn’t keep. he is good but was from what we heard a malcontent.. He was really young though and maybe he grew up.. It sure would have been nice to have a nfl caliber player in the secondary

Speaking of NFL players, has anyone heard how the three BSU guys did in their respective all-star games ??

The reason Hazelton left is really simple - Riley Neal just couldn't get him the ball effectively enough.

I heard a an interesting conversation on "ceilings" the other day.. It talked alot about players coming in at their Max "ceiling" and players coming in with a lot of room to grow. They talked about it pertaining to every level of play. You never want to take a player who can not grow even if at the point he is better than option B. You also never want to take a player whos ceiling is to low.. Balancing that fine line makes or breaks a recruiter
