The MAC tourney will be very lonely indeed. Calhoun will be the only one there.

Akron is going to the NCAA for the men and Central Michigan for the women (even though they got beat yesterday. That's a crock of shit).

Pre Mac tourney days representation— regular season champs only. But in this case best records since we have two divisions and no regular season “champ”.

I guess I don't understand why things have to be cancelled as opposed to putting them behind closed doors. Just having two small groups of young men play a game is not anything like putting thousands or tens of thousands of people in a single enclosed space when it comes to spreading the virus. If a player, say for example, goes out to eat at a restaurant instead of playing the game...wouldn't he have a similar risk of exposure? Am I missing something?
I'm sure the tourney will be cancelled just as soon as the necessary people can schedule a meeting and a press conference.

I'm sure the tourney will be cancelled just as soon as the necessary people can schedule a meeting and a press conference. Because nobody is requiring them to go out to eat dinner, they are required to come play the conference tournament by the Mac. That is why the Mac is canceling it because just like they don’t want them to go out for dinner in public they don’t want them to have to come play basketball. Just like what is happening in the NBA right now. It’s not that hard to get

Because what if a team in the tourney ended up having a sick player. Then that whole team is out along with whatever team they played against. And anyone who was in close proximity of that player.
See: Utah Jazz.
And lawyers.

The Big East just had the misfortune of playing the first game of the day, and while getting ready for/tipping off that game, all the other conferences made the call. They didn't want to be first to cancel, the P5 all coordinated their release, and the Big East was left out in the cold

Whit’ really got a bye for his tenure at Good Ole Ball U! Had a decent season and chance to really show us how much we improved during a MAC Tournament run. It’s on to the 20-21 season.
