Take note that this young lady is quite a bit more dangerous than she looks.
A Muncie woman was charged this week with attacking four members of a local family – one of them pregnant and another 8 years old – at a westside carnival
She said South pushed her to the ground, then punched her in the head.
South then allegedly began “fighting and hitting” her accuser’s daughter and two of her granddaughters, once of them nine months pregnant and the other 8 years old.
They said South knew one of her accusers was pregnant and vowed to kill both her and her unborn child. The pregnant woman was allegedly “slammed” to the ground and had her hair pulled.

Van Halen bass player Michael Anthony is in a spot of trouble.
Suspect held in Muncie convenience store robbery
At the time of his arrest, Maddox already faced five charges in four pending Muncie City Court cases – battery, driving while intoxicated, theft and two counts of invasion of privacy. According to court records, the Delaware County man has been convicted of battery (twice), conversion, interference with the reporting of a crime, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of a controlled substance, strangulation, theft (four times), unlawful possession of a legend drug and unlawful possession of a syringe.
Overincarceration problem? Bull f------ shit.

Woman charged with fleeing after backing over pedestrian
A blood draw at Henry County Hospital measured Austin’s blood-alcohol content at 0.299. In Indiana, motorists with a BAC of 0.08 or higher are considered intoxicated. The Middletown woman reportedly gave conflicting accounts of her alcohol ingestion, at one point saying she had not had a drink since last November, but also acknowledging she had “chugged four bottles of red wine” that day
It's unfair to assume that alcohol had anything to do with this incident. Rather, anyone who has ever been in a car while a female driver attempted to maneuver it in reverse knows that their ability to do so is so poor that alcohol cannot degrade it any further. Most women I know refuse to even attempt parallel parking, or backing down a curved driveway, for this reason.

Henry County shows its class yet again. NEW CASTLE, Ind. – When a New Castle woman was told she would not be served more alcohol due to her apparent level of intoxication, she asked to instead buy a round of drinks for her fellow customers, city police said.
But when those drinks were poured at Hoosier Daddy’s bar, 1538 Indiana Ave., 41-year-old Lucinda J. Davidson instead “grabbed them all and began trying to drink all of them,” an officer wrote. Things quickly went downhill from there, according to a police report...Indeed they did. The woman freaked out, screaming and trying to attack various law enforcement and hospital personnel. Such a pity there is no video available. Imagine the scene as the drinks arrived in front of the patrons, and this crazy woman tried to grab them all and drink them all. How many was she able to grab out of how many possible? I imagine that the people pretty readily handed the drinks over, figuring easy-come-easy-go, and also not wanting to get their face bit off. But the bartender who cut her off must have objected. I call this a very chaotic scene. In New Castle they call this "Tuesday Night". Police: Woman's offer to buy a round for the house backfired

The old "This meth in my pocket/car/underwear/body cavity isn't mine, officer" is, of course, a standard tactic for Muncie criminals. But there are a couple interesting details in this case.
“Brandon told me that he did not want to discuss the baggies in his pockets, but stated that he put on someone else’s pants because he was trying to hurry to sell the shoes,” investigator Alex Moore wrote. Moore said Manzenberger “later expressed disappointment in himself for not taking the time to find his own pants.”
Sure. I mean...who among us can say that we have never accidently put on a roommate's meth-filled pants while in a hurry to get to the VP to sell stolen shoes?
But I especially like how he is disappointed in himself, because no doubt, he has very high standards of intelligence and behavior for himself, and is usually very conscientious about taking the time to find his own pants.
The Muncie man – being held without bond Friday in the Delaware County jail – had been the target of a warrant issued Oct. 10 after he failed to show up for a pre-trial hearing in Circuit Court 3. In that case, filed in January, he is charged with counterfeiting.
We supposedly have an overincarceration problem, but yet Muncie has an apparently limitless number of moronic scumbag criminals running around repeatedly victimizing people, getting caught, ignoring court dates, driving without licenses, etc.. Counterfeiting is something out of the ordinary though...I'll give him that. Although I suppose he got caught because he was using a printer with only red ink left, or something equally stupid.

That's my ex-fiance Suzy!!! We were getting married until she came down with a penchant for Meth, and opened a Meth Lab in the bathroom of the McGalliard Wal-Mart ( a related, previous headline). I am deeply blessed to have attended BSU. (sorry, I have no Twitter account) I met chicks in the headlines.

It's not sexist if you're making a compliment...right? Muncie area female criminals make up the best excuses: Muncie woman charged with burglary, drug crimesA man who lives along South Luick Avenue on Nov. 2 contacted Muncie police to report he had been awakened by a woman – later identified as Lynn – who had broken into his house.
The man said he demanded the intruder leave, and later realized his house and car keys were missing.
When questioned by police, Lynn reportedly admitted to breaking into the house, saying she was searching for keys belonging to a deceased relative who had lived nearby.
She denied taking the man’s keys, although they were later reportedly found among her possessions. Deputies: Hartford City woman battered her mother, escaped from jailSchocke tried to persuade authorities she was not trying to escape, but was “just running to burn up calories because she can't sleep in our jail.”

At this time, I'd like to nominate Mayor Dennis Tyler as WTS Muncie Person of the Year.

I was once involved in local Muncie politics in a small way. I quickly realized that many of the people I met were scamming. But the funny thing is, I did not get disgusted with them, even though I saw their scams and I generally did not share their politics. For one thing, the were generally likable, if not overly bright, people, and for another they treated me very nicely. And even though they nominal politics differed completely from mine, they weren't really what I would consider political people....they didn't care too much about political issues or philosophy. They were in politics mostly because they liked being seen as a big shot.
Also, the amounts of money or favors they were getting from their various scams was pathetically small. I think you will see with Tyler, even though the mayor's office is the pinnacle of local politics, the amounts of money you will see mentioned won't amount to a whole lot.
