Ball State has never realized that it is in the entertainment business with college sports. Look at what other schools do to promote big games. Code Red, the Pep band and Munciana should have been there. Maybe they didn't know there was even a match let alone a big one. Ball State has an acknowledged national reputation as being a mecca for volleyball. The lack of promotion by the university for volleyball and I might add also womens basketball that had a stellar year is an absolute disgrace. I couldn’t agree more! At least for women’s basketball, despite hardly any student turnout and a decent community turnout, women’s basketball has a pep band, cheerleaders, code red dancers and Charlie Cardinal. Men’s and women’s volleyball, our two most successful sports at BSU, have no pep band, occasional cheerleaders and code red dancers, but never both at the same time, and an occasional Charlie Cardinal. Last night when BSU played for the conference championship, none of the above were there! A pitiful and pathetic disgrace to the university! Anyone know who makes awful decisions? They should be reassigned to another department!

That still doesn't explain the 1000 fan turnout. Let's see if fans show for the tournament.
