Goedett said with a loss we would be 1-6 in the last three years. We were 3-2 in 2015

Something needs to change. It finally will. I'm a broken record, but until these seniors leave this team was going no place. Not because they aren't talanted, they are, but with Maloney's style of coaching no matter how bad they've played they were going to stay in the lineup. The last month the same 8 have started. These last two games are the only games they've felt pressure because they had to win. If you play 50 plus games of baseball with no pressure, you can't just turn it on. This has happened the last two years. Coach has wasted a lot of talent by babying that talent.

I mentioned it earlier I think Coach Maloney may look for greener pastures the reason being that if you want win in baseball you don't coach in the Midwest you coach in the south. Question then becomes can he get a better job there?

He's had some really good opportunities the last couple years but stayed with us.

Would assume there was quite a bit of loyalty from him toward that group of seniors, including his son, and, too, his expectations that might have kept him here. I'd expect that had a lot to do with him turning down the Liberty job. Tournament success isn't going to be a real plus in trying to leave. Kinda like you other folks, I don't know what we have in terms of underclassmen since all these seniors have played so much.
