Weird loss to Toledo Thursday but the Cards put it all together tonight (Saturday 9/30) in a sweep over the up and coming Buffalo team. 3-1 in conference play now waiting for a show down with Western Michigan next Friday. Should be a good one. Great win tonight!

I've given up trying to figure out our women's volleyball program anymore. You very easily could have left off the " 's volleyball program anymore. " !!!!!!!!! I've said it before and not too many on this board seemed to agree, but they are girls/women and there are many, many different moods involved that you don't see quite so much in men. |

Since the teams often kick ass all season, and usually fail in the tournament only, it is clearly "the curse!"
That afflicts most of our teams, men and women.
Of course the whole tournament thing throws out expecting a rational result. It seems pretty random who wins championships much of the time in so many sports. Good teams win, but certainly too often not the consensus best. But, even if random among the 4 or 5 best, you'd expect us to win our share, and that doesn't seem to be true.

Straight set loss to Ohio tonight, like always.
Maybe everybody's moods will align in our favor in the MAC tourney. Has to happen eventually, right?

5-3 in conference. 7-1 at home w/ the next 5 conference games in Worthen. Good chance to get some momentum going to close out the season.
