The difference between T and G is hardly the difference between a janitor and a surgeon. And, the Ridley comparison is really apples and oranges. Your argument keeps coming down to you really really want a T, and seem very willing to ignore quality of player. And, you seem to disparage the value of an OG.

You're not going to give up many sacks when you're only throwing 5yards downfield

Yeah, and they're playing two tackles who were down the original depth chart.
That has to change the plan a little.

I'll say one thing: it's a huge relief to have Reich around rather than Pagano. Pagano never had anything to say beyond the most inane and tired football clichés. You could never tell if he really understood the issues or had any real plan to deal with them.
Reich has this to say:
“That number’s really important,” Reich said of the Colts’ low yards per pass attempt figure so far. “I mean, if you look over the years, and if you’re a stat person … that’s an important number. Wins and losses correlate to that number. So we just have to do a better job of getting the ball down the field, giving Andrew opportunities, calling plays where he can get the ball down the field, get open down the field — it’s all of us.
Fairly simple, but makes me feel like he is on top of things.
There are no common football clichés around average yards per completion/attempt, so I don't know if Pagano could have ever grasped or recognized this issue at all.
I'm not yet sure Luck is back to where he was, or if he ever will be. The Colts will be playing at least one, if not two, sub-standard tackles all year due to stupid drafting strategy. There is no effective #2 WR. But at least the coach is not in denial of the problem....and that's something.

I guess our recent number one picks are doing a good job in the scrum of bodies in the middle of the line. That's what people tell me anyway. Meanwhile our offensive tackles are getting abused for game-changing plays on the edges. Who would have thought?

Yeah, Herman, but Nelson has kept Angelo Blackson from being a factor in the game. True, Angelo Blackson has never been a factor in a game, but still....the Colts have him under control.

Alright, Venatieri is a f------ sorcerer. That kick was definitely heading wide right, then it curved back in.

Amazing play calling on 4th and 4, in OT, in your own territory, with time running out.
I like a gamble, but WTF.

He’s gonna have a hard time living that one down. But, if a Colts receiver could catch a damn ball....
