Ball State Men's VB opens the season this weekend by hosting Lees-McRae College on Friday night, then hosts Emmanuel College on Saturday night.
Probably the home games that most will find most interesting happen next weekend. Ball State hosts Brigham Young on Friday, January 12th, and hosts Stanford on Saturday, January 13th. Both games are 7:30pm ET starts.
Fort Wayne comes to Muncie on St. Patricks Day, and Ohio State comes to Muncie on April 7th.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
On another note, I watched a lot of women's VB the last few years and, while watching the NCAA final 4 this year, observed the VAST disparity between those teams and the games I was watching with our MAC teams. The same thing is present in women's basketball. The level of play of the top 3-4 teams is WAY beyond the rest of the schools.

Not a surprise. 3-0 Cards. Emmanuel College tonight. BYU will be carried on ESPN3 on 12th Stanford game will also be on ESPN3 on the 13th Just bought a couple of AirTV boxes that work with Over the Air Antenna mixed with internet streaming feeds with one voice-enabled controller. It's nice because it will combine ESPN3 into voice command searches. Antenna and internet TV with one voice controller. Works great.

Good start over vastly inferior competition. Good deal

Cards lose to back-to-back NCAA runner-up BYU 1-3 last night in front of 1750 folks in Muncie.
Take on Stanford tonight, who lost to back-to-back NCAA champion Ohio State last night in Columbus.

I think some of the Stanford players should simplify things and just wear yoga pants.
BSU's strategy of turning down the thermostat is not working.

Ball State is not going to win tonight, but this is the best play I’ve seen from us in the last few years. Thought we would give Stanford a tight match after what I saw Friday.
This is Stanford’s first win of season 1-4.
