I worked with a lot of Iowa State people. They thought Larry was a hoot.
I think he lives on the ragged edge most of the time 😏
He and Hunsaker had a “full” command of motivational English language.

while success of athletic programs at BSU is nothing to wrote home about, i am very happy and thankful for Whitford and Neu. they are calm on the sideline and appear to be liked by their players.

The guy can coach and recruit but he is a dieing breed in today’s PC culture.i would hire him in a second but my guess is his career is finished. You can’t get away with calling your kids pussies, swearing at them and throwing a basketball at the back of a kids head anymore though I have no problem with my kids playing for a coach like that. It’s a shame because he was a very good coach. We have some kids that need to be literally kicked in the ass.

Old school coaching is almost dead. And that is at all levels. Even football coaches don't coach as much like football coaches any more...

the old Cinci coach Bob Huggins used to be one of the worst player abusers as far as acting out of control on the sideline. well it looks like he too changed and has calmed a bit. times are a changing.

i think the coach should have been fired in 2014...instead they fired the AD. It looks like a bad situation for the whole program.

I am in the Springs but have always rooted for CSU when they play as I have no Air Force connection.Go Rams is fine to me in state but not against the MAC schools.
