Yes, prohibition has lifted. There are, of course, the inevitable naysayers against remotely adult behavior already assembling on TSP's Facebook page. Or is it only bad because BSU is doing it? So confusing... I would like to ask those commenting negatively when was the last time the even attended a game. The exorbitant and outrageous ticket prices kept them away, I am sure. Though I will say if you are a non-season ticket holder and you are paying full-price GA for football games, you're a special kind of chump.

I don't mind the beer sales. I just think the no readmission policy for boosters who may want to go out and hang out at halftime will be wildly unpopular especially in the Gold lot. This SUCKS.

Seems to be a bit of a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. I assume in deciding to sell beer, they actually want to "sell beer," not to mention other concessions. With that in mind, it seems counterproductive to release your captive audience so they can go drink their own beer and eat their own food in the tailgate lot. As the press release notes, this is something of a trend at stadiums. Maybe if they're not going to let us leave, they could open up the lots a little earlier.

No. Probably worked a deal through Terrance Smith Distributing (Ball State alums) to bring in Anheuser Busch InBev products.

I heard there will be a two beer limit per person, per game? Is this true? Update:www.ballstatedaily.com/article/2018/08/news-atheltics-unveils-beer-salesSo it sounds like a two drink per transaction limit, not per game. If you have to use a drink carrier to carry you beers, you may need to re-think your drinking a bit. Also, the article mentions that a permanent video board has been installed an Scheuman Stadium. No more retractable video screen?

The no entry is not going to go over well thats for sure.. I get the reasoning but many will hate it... Hey Reality this may ruin your whole game day.. I think you should just slide the nice Gold lot pass over to me.. I mean I have small kids and wife that need close a walk.. Help a younger brother out

You are young and vital, kids need exercise to wear out so you can watch the game.
I had thought the reentry thing had to do with not wanting to screen people so many times as they go in and out. Security and so on. And on that count lots of us will look like crazed terrorists after trailing at the half by 25 and having left to blow off steam, had a few drinks, and returning with fire in eyes...

Hey you stay out of this... Ive been trying to get a parking pass to any cement lot for two years now. I used to be able to get a free one to the purple every year but you know all the cool employees are not longer with BSU.

If we play this year like last I will need more than two beers per trip just to get through a game.

I really hope it isn't one window, with one tapper, serving the whole stadium.

I really hope it isn't one window, with one tapper, serving the whole stadium. One concession stand at each end. I can already see the bottleneck.
