Other than maybe cmu I don’t see any Mac teams we can stay close to unless our offense opens way up. We need to win next week. Kent State is a team we can beat and probably should at home. Tell me why you think we should beat Kent?

Kent was toe to toe with ole miss in the 3rd qtr. today. And they have a dual threat qb that elson will struggle to game plan for.

Disappointing. I thought we would win this game and it looked good early. Ball State had the best QB on the field, but WKU had the better o and d line. Why can’t we run against WKU? Way too many penalties for both teams. Did BSU really hold on every play? Also thought the targeting call was bs, but it’s tough to tell live. Neu better figure it out fast.

I was impressed with WKU. But, we just missed on so many plays on D.

We lost to Notre Dame by 1 possession two weeks ago. Again, I’m not saying we will win, but I think we should and I bet we will be favored going into the game.

As we’ve seen, the ND game didn’t mean jack squat so I get it. But unless and until we run an offense that can actually get 7 a reasonable number of times we probably can’t beat anyone in the conference.

I would probably guess 3 if you asked me now. I think we beat Kent State and CMU.

I had thought this was a 4 win team but would at least show the progress needed to have hope and retain Neu. After the Nd game I thought hotdamn!
Now, I’m not sure we can get 3. I hope these guys can get it figured out and find some success in the Mac.
Just so damn inconsistent. And so vanilla.

I cant find a MAC team that I am confident we can beat... CMU is the best chance. I will say the D is better than last year but thats not saying much. The offense has had the same questions for years.. We need guys to step up they have not. The oline is not good actually they are bad and we did not count on that.. We thought we would have Newton out wide to stretch the field. He is now third maybe fourth string cause he can not grasp our complex offense. Same questions as we had last year folks The O-Line was also missing two starters from the season opener today. Slaven is wearing a boot. That was a surprise to me. I agree I don't see any teams I am confident we can beat.

I’m really not saying anyone is defending Neu!!
I’m actually hoping he will gets some wins this year to give us a reason to keep him

When I saw you mention Whitford I thought you were alluding to Neu getting a pass compared to Whitford. Another 1-7 in the MAC and I'm finding a proverbial ledge. If Kent st were to win next week I cant see much better than a 1-7/2-10 scenario. Hope cards put the wku collapse behind them.

You would still hope that we could run a little better than we did.
