Wait...Herman has over 9000! Why is he not a Moderator too? Are you also a member of a privileged class? I think to be a mod, you have to have at least one sensible post, and Herman is sitting at zero for 9,244.

Over on the other side of the fence, where the grass looks significantly greener:
Alabama's Nick Saban is the highest paid coach at $8,307,000. Urban Meyer is second at $7,600,000 and Michigan's Jim Harbaugh is third at $7,504,000.
How much value does Saban add at Alabama each year? I have no idea....but a huge amount obviously. For all I know, he may be the highest paid AND the best bargain.
Harbaugh, on the other hand, is a doubtful bargain. Seems like a competent coach at MI should be a threat to make the play-off most years, and Harbaugh hasn't yet managed it. Can't see how he's adding $7.5 million value to Michigan each year...or much of anything actually. The contrast with Meyer has to be extremely painful for MI fans. Without so much as a quick Google search, I would guess that MI fans are starting to get pretty impatient.
