Had Ian book played the whole game against Nd would have rolled. As it was, wimbush threw for over 300 and he can’t pass.
Most of the teams left on the schedule can put up huge numbers. We’ll see if the shit now hits the fan or we keep hanging tough.

And yet we somehow find a way to keep teams under 30 points. Think how good our defense would be if our secondary was average or slightly better! So far, The only good offensive team we have faced up to this point IU and they did what they wanted, ND offense was not good when we played them. We will find out about the D over the next few weeks. Just in time for us to face teams with bad defenses. Few teams, let alone MAC teams, have a great offense AND defense. We may give up more points in the coming weeks, but we should also score more points.

I think we are going to need to put up 35ish a game to win a few from here on out. Hopefully I am wrong and the D is vastly improved and we can win a couple only getting to the 28ish area

The O-line looks way different than it could have.

I ventured over to the EMU messageboard to get their perspective. They definitely feel like the loss of Glass hurts. They are not confident in their offense, especially their run attack without Glass. There was even talk of playing the 3rd string QB. 3rd stringer sounds like runner without the passing ability of Glass. Overall sentiment over there thinks they can win but that the game will be close.

I agree with the 24-16 prediction in favor of EMU, and hope I'm wrong.

Anyone know what the health situation of our offensive line is?
I believe we lost one starter for the season during ND game but what’s the situation for this week

It’s homecoming, so of course windy and rainy in Muncie Saturday. Dammit.

The key for our defense is to get pressure on their QB. I’m thinking lots of LB blitzes and mixing up coverages. If he has time to throw, we will be in trouble.
