Definately. Hopefully it will get them rejuvinated. Have the talet to beat at least 2 of the next 3. lets finish the season strong. At the beginning of the season, I thought that might be possible. I expected to perhaps win a close game somewhere and have 5 wins at this point, pretty good chances to win 1 out the last 3 to be bowl eligible. It seems like a little worse season than it is after losing a game we expected to win, and failing to come up big at any point. If we were to win 2 more games that would be a fantastic close! The odds are against even winning one more game. We will be underdog in all three. Reading between the lines, this site echoes that reality and projects we might be somewhere close to 50-50 odds to win one more: www.teamrankings.com/college-football/team/ball-state-cardinals/projectionsWinning today was not a sure thing but our best bet to win 1... I honestly think the one game we might win is Bowling Green, but only if they have the MAC East wrapped up. I am certainly a fan of teamrankings sabr projections, but they likelywouldn't factor in whether or not their approach would be modified with nothing at stake as was the case last season in week 13.

We should do a version of ''Dancin' on the Ceiling'' with the Code Red dancers and some players and play it on the jumbotron after winning at home!!

Did you guys hear that Mabon made known this week that he will be returning for his 5th season? Assuming no attrition other than those who finish their eligibility (which is never a sure thing) that means we will have everyone back except for Williams and most of the offensive line. There seem to be some pretty decent prospects in the pipeline to take the departing linemen's place. Obviously they will be less experienced.

The offense potentially could be really damned good next year. It's vital the oline is rebuilt well, plus the schemes should take advantage of the talent, not bury it.

Where is there any evidence of Lembo ''losing'' the team? He may not be a player's coach but I see enthusiasm on the bench, players returning, no one giving up or mailing it in. I am very optimistic about next season.

As of two weeks ago there was zero enthusiasm on the bench. It had to become a point of emphasis.

Lembo is not a ostrich with his head in the sand. I believe he knows there is a problem or problems and he is taking steps to right the ship. If he doesn't win here his career goals will be derailed. He knows how to coach and he should know how to handle the locker room. As long as the team buys into his ideas he will be OK.
