Pathetic effort by all. This team wasn't prepared nor did they show some heart. The schedule is heavy on road games, and that does not give me ANY confidence.

If they crap bed next week this season could illicit bad memories of jarrod Jones and Randy Davis's senior yr of falling way below reasonable expectation since its not even late Feb when Whitfords teams often collapse. Here's to hoping they figure it out STAT.

I may need to revisit my MAC win-loss prediction. Sub-.500 is looking really likely right now. And this team was expected to be good enough for the two seed....

My biggest problem— how the hell could these guys not be interested in playing? That kills me.

Not BSU related. Last year, I used a VPN to access ESPN3 hear at my winter home south of the border. I have tried 3 different VPNS, including the one I used last year, and none has fooled ESPN+. Any ideas? Pay the 5 bucks a month???

Weller asked the coach in the post game what happened and coach had no idea. I would have no idea either. It is highly unusual for everyone to be playing this poorly. What was in their breakfast?
Go Cards!

"The vibe surrounding the Ball State men’s basketball program is certainly gaining momentum in wake of the Cardinals’ 80-77 win at Notre Dame earlier this week and for good reason.
Ball State is a very good team that should contend for a Mid-American Conference title. However, if you think the Cardinals are good this year (and they are), just wait until next season.
“The whole objective,” fifth-year Cardinal coach James Whitford said prior to this season, “is to have sustainability.”
FAIL ................

Recruiting and coaching has its consequences. A team takes on the character of its coach. OU came into this game limping, yet they humiliated us on our home court. Season over.

If BSU is midpack or worse this yr any confidence in whitford is 100% lost. They're the most experienced team in MAC so no excuse for dropping winnable home games.

The way the conference season is going so far I fully expect us to beat Buffalo ... but nobody else.

Pretty much matches the sustainability of wind and solar energy. Intermittent energy sources (no power when the wind doesn't blow and sun doesn't shine) and intermittent basketball play by the Cardinals.

“I’ve been lurking on here for several hours and all you clowns do is criticize the coach....cracks me up.”
You can’t criticize the coach.......He admits he doesn’t know what happened. Give me a break, You can’t blame a guy that doesnt know what’s going on!

If whit doesn’t know what happened then we’re in great hands! The last person we want understanding what happens with the team or has the pulse of the team is the coach!
Was he “proud of our effort” again? Did we play the right way? He’s gonna get mad and not talk analytics to them this week!
