If you look @ our time in the MAC since entering league in 1976 we look good. We won 3 outright titles & tied for 2 more before tourney started in 80. We have won 7 tourneys but none since 2000. That still leads conference.
Conference went into division play in 1998. We have won division 6 times with 5 being ties. WMU has 9 & Toledo 7 including ties.CMU also 6. EMU & NIU 1 each.
We have had 10 coaches in that time. Whitford's current .464 winning pct. ranks 7th just ahead of Taylor's .459 & just below Brown's .476. Buckley is 5th with .517. None of the other 5 coaches lasted more than 6 years before being fired. Brown won a tourney no one else won more than a division. It is clear to me this coach is on par will the other five fired coaches. He does not win like the other 4 three of whom Majerus, Yoder & McCallum moved up to better paying jobs. Then there was Hunsaker who was fired because of NCAA problems. Also note no coach was here longer than McCallum & it was 7 yrs.
We need to bring in another coach now.

I will accept that. But tell you that as the losses continue we will see one or more of the guys actually playing decide to play elsewhere next season & you can thank the coach.

Other than Teague I don't know who can leave for a better or even similar situation, which illustrates just how bad Whitford's recruiting has been. |

The BSU program has left its fanbase in such a stupor, I don't think a taser is enough to wake most up. Maybe some combination of taser, air horn, ice cold water, flash bang grenade, and naked female breasts would do it.
