I remember on several occasions being in class, looking around, and wondering "How did some of these f@ckers get in here?"

Yeah I had that same experience, especially in the dorm.

Suddenly Whitford's recruiting becomes explicable.

My parents just wanted rid of me What was it worth to them? Did they get you on a roster, then faked an injury? Or did they just get someone to take the SAT for you?

I can remember people taking tests for others in big classes I took Western Civ (several hundred in the class) with a prominent men's basketball player who ALWAYS sat in the same seat, but on test days was replaced by someone who most definitely was NOT a men's basketball player.

I used to make tiny little cheat sheets with all the key info I needed for a test. However I found that after going through the process of creating the cheat sheet, I remembered the information and didn't need to look at it during the test. So I discontinued the practice....it was too much like studying, which is against my principles.

They knew that if you spent enough time compiling a cheat sheet prior to the test, that you would probably retain most of the knowledge.

And if allowed to do so, they might, or, just use the one someone else made and copy it...as Sherm says that whole process is very much like studying.
Plus those pesky professors often ask questions requiring thinking to figure them out.
