0-19 including the SEC tournament. Actually the SEC was a bit better this year. Kentucky is always good, but this year Florida, Tennessee, Auburn and Mississippi State have been good as well. And the Razerbacks came through and beat the Buttdogs in the NIT.
Vandy was truly awful.

Bryce Drew was fired this morning at Vanderbilt. Would love to have him at Ball State.

Valpo comes calling for Bryce if they have any money. I can't imagine the misery of knowing exactly what you'd like to do but not being able to do it. I hope for their mental health they have the money.

That's going to be really tough for Valpo, my guess they are still paying off their membership fee to the Mo Valley.

Maybe they’ll tell Drew to sit out a year and they’ll bring him in after.

Maybe they’ll tell Drew to sit out a year and they’ll bring him in after. He likely isn't going to get a lot of calls.

ESPN reports that Vandy is going to reassign Drew within the athletic department in order to avoid paying his buyout. So, unless he quits he won't be available.

Supposedly it was Drew's first one-on-one meeting with Vandy's new AD.

Supposedly it was Drew's first one-on-one meeting with Vandy's new AD. Yikes. Welcome to the big-time. In our world we get a veiled passive aggressive interview with the local paper where half the commentary is pc excuse-laden and the other half appears to have some land mines. Doesn't matter either way because our cupboard is too bare for a buyout.

Is there anywhere we could reassign Whitford to at BSU that wouldn't have his salary totally out of whack with the new position? I mean is there some high position in the BSU administration that his salary would be within say $100,000 or so that would allow us to hire a new men's basketball coach now?
