Butler comes to Muncie for a Tuesday afternoon game (3:00 ET). It will be streamed at ballstatesports.com/watch/?Live=1218&type=LiveEastern Michigan comes in on Friday for three weekend games. They are 7-24-1 and have been swept by NIU and Miami, and took 2 of 3 from Bowling Green. |

Thru today’s game the Cards are batting .289 as a team with 5 guys above .300

Dodged a bullet. BSU wins 3-2. EMU rallied with a run in T9, then had men on 2nd & 3rd with one out. Nicolas in relief of Jameson gets a K and an infield fly to get out of inning.

A little dicey versus a bad team but I'm glad Nicolas avoided disaster late. Great start for Jameson. Hope to see more production offensively Sat. and Sun.

Split the DH today.
Tough series next week at Miami. Miami is 10-2 in MAC and undefeated at home. Good overall record, but against a light pre-conference schedule. Should tell us where we are.

Better than the first game I saw this year since there was actually some warmth in the air. I do wish I had the time to spend 5-6 hours at the ballpark on a Saturday watching a full DH. |
