Guys, we had a great record, but we were a 6 seed in an 8 team tournament and lost 3-2 in our first game. It's not like it was a total collapse.
Yeh, it does look like it might end up being two and out, but I think we might need to be a little bit more realistic in our expectations and thus all the negative comments making it sound like we should have won the thing and totally fell apart.

Well, we’re behind 3-0 when play resumes today.
The good news is that our athletic department saves on hotel and meal expenses when we participate in MAC tournaments with each early departure.

I think getting off to a 3 - 0 and then 4-1 start in league play made it appear like we would contend this year. But we went 5-7 after that nice start and now look like we’ll be eliminated in 2 games so the season just kinda petered out.

We lost 2 straight but it was to higher seeds..........so.......it doesn’t really count as a bad tournament performance.

BSU finished season at 34-20, and lost first round. Kent State comes into tourney, loses 1st round, loses quarter final round in losers bracket, and finishes 25-23. They get invited to the NISC tourney. WTF? Miami (34-14) and Ohio (31-19) didn't get invited, either. Wonder if teams were invited, but declined. Kent won their 1st round game. Toledo (29-26) starts in NCAA tourney today in Lexington vs. UK. |
