I wanna see Miami upset Ohio, then have WMU walk into a firestorm in Athens as Ohio tries to offset the Miami loss.
But I also wanna see BSU take down the Chips & Kent, then serve up the "pièce de résistance", a home win over Miami.

Miami's DC has come up with a nice game plan for the option. Who knew that was possible? ??

Miami is decent and gettine better as Gabbert gets exp.. Just think he is a freshman so we get to play him for 4 years.. We offered him and were actually in his top three along with Miami and Toledo

The Miami RedHawks might be one of the more underrated teams in college football. All four of their losses are to teams that have already attained bowl eligibility. Three of those losses were road games vs. #18 Iowa, #20 Cincinnati, and #1 Ohio State.

Ohio blog has two problems 1) they can't fire Frank & he has never won a MAC title & 2) has anyone ever named their stadium for a coach who never won a championship?

Miami's DC has come up with a nice game plan for the option. Who knew that was possible? ?? Miami was disciplined, tough and consistent and was in Rourke’s grill most of the game. They were very well prepared. The opposite of our defense. As long as Elson is d coordinator we will be inconsistent and struggle to be assignment sharp. A real shame given how productive our offense is. We can avg 31 a game and still lose 8 games. And Desmond Howard and that clown he’s paired with are miserable to listen to.

The way OSU plays a 70 point loss isn't that bad.

We will not win again because our staff is unable to fully prepare our team, which has the talent, to beat the stronger more disciplined teams. Watching Miami shut down an OU Team we had no clue how to play against was eye opening. Miami defenders were in good position all night. How often are our guys out of position? I’ve not had confidence in Elson since the day he was hired and I’ve seen nothing to change that.
We have a really good offense when we attack. But other than the Toledo game we’ve tended to go conservative at key times. Costs us.

So Cardfan do you think we will play conservative vs CMU next week? I would hope we really open it up the only exception would be do to playing in the rain or snow.

We get conservative. We don’t stay on the attack. We don’t stay with what works. We saw what we could do when we open things up and keep attacking vs Toledo. We were too conservative vs OU. Conversely we didn’t run enough the first half vs Wmu, dominated when we did run, then couldn’t pass when we really needed to. No rhyme or reason to what we do. And again, other than Toledo we’ve not played a full game. Always playing catch up.
Cmu is going to be very physical and out tough us. They have very good athletes and are obviously very well coached. McelwAin will run circles around our staff.

We lost by 4 points on the road to arguably the best MAC team, but you are confident we will lose out? CMU lost 31-15 at WMU. They are good, but we are capable of beating them.

We blew 2 fourth quarter leads to Wmu. The d collapsed when we should have won. The D collapsed vs OU. What I’m saying is we’re back to playing how we did the last two Years on defense. It looks and feels very suspiciously like 2017 again when we never got past 4 wins and the defense went south as we played better teams. Of course I hope I’m very wrong.
