With 15 regular season games left and whatever we get in the tournament, Tahjai has a chance at his current pace to perhaps realize his potential and etch his name pretty prominently in the BSU record book. With his current career totals and averages this year, he would finish 4th all-time in rebounding, 9th in scoring, 3rd in blocks and has an outside shot at 3rd in career steals. Kid asked if he were to make first team All Mac and lead us to Conference title or at least NIT would he be HOF worthy. I believe the answer would be yes. It’s a long season left to go but he has kicked into another gear, as some seniors do in the last half of their final season. Here’s hoping he achieves the above, especially the post season success.

I'd think the MAC POTY Award would make him a lock for the BSU HOF too.

I agree but I think the only way you get POY is to win the tournament. Also, based on recent history, the only way the MAC gets a team in the NIT is a team wins 25-30 games and beats a couple of high profile names in the non-con schedule. Toledo made the NIT last year bu other than them, when's the last time the MAC had an NIT team? Anyone know?

Were Akron or Ub in the NIT in the recent past?
