ESPN has Ball U favored to win 50.1% versus CMU 49.9%! A toss up. This is the time to prove how good you can be. It will be tough, but I think our defense gets it done. go Cards.

FWIW... Bart Torvik lists the Cards as 3 point favorites (and currently just in the double digits at #99 ranking). So... another vote for this being a close game. Side note... At this point, has the Cards as favorites in all remaining games besides Kent (-2) and Toledo (-1), and predicts a 20-11 (13-5) record. barttorvik.com/team.php?year=2020&team=Ball+St.

After a week long break, we have 5 games in 14 days with 4 of those on the road. Our freshmen will get a real taste of MAC road life as we reach the halfway mark of the Conference season during this stretch. Getting Walton back would be a boost. Someone at the Star Press needs to grow a pair and ask why he is not playing.

Although until we get another body ready for play on the bench I will worry about late season and about Cleveland. Even Kroft or a surprise appearance by Thomas would be a boost. Hell, I wish Zach Gunn were available. Despite his shortcomings he filled in last year and was effective on occasion.

I agree with Reality on getting KJ back, but I believe he tweaked it again on the incredible put back against Toledo?! And, if I'm correct they are waiting on a full recovery so we have him the last half of the season and for the tournament. But, why doesn't someone ask the question?

We are going to lose some road games I hoping we can get two out of the four.. Heck even one the Mac is kinda wacky this year. Akron bounced back nicely this evening.. NIU goes on the road and beats Kent lol

We're basically into that 2-game-a-week grind, but the tough element certainly will be the road nature of the next five.
Looking a little further ahead, if we continue to play pretty well, the final three games could be very tough also: At Toledo, home with CMU and at NIU, all in a 7-day span. A lot of tournament seedings could change that week.
At CMU first, though. Go Cards!

2 out of the next 4 would be okay Rob Sure we would like them to win them all but realistically if we can split a 4 game road swing then thats all you can really ask for.. We just dont want to lose them all that would be bad

Attendance at last nights MAC games was sad, with the exception of Ohio. Miami led the way with just of 800 people. Two-thousand, plus or minus at the rest of the games with the exception of Ohio at just over 5,000.

what are the odds, after not playing for a whole week, that BSU comes out extremely flat on the road and gets boat raced?

While their OOC schedule is worse that Ball State's a few years ago, Central is 9-1 at home after just losing to Buffalo. They've beaten common opponents Miami and AT Toledo.

what are the odds, after not playing for a whole week, that BSU comes out extremely flat on the road and gets boat raced? The odds are excellent, especially when considering the Whit effect.
